Whereas once I was sick, now I am well. Yeah. I went through my worst case of strep this week and am now finally over it.

I have a playmate. And here I thought all South Floridians would suck ass the way they did when I was younger. Oops.

The weather is unnaturally warm but then...it's astronomically cold elsewhere, so I am decidedly grateful instead of bitchy about the subtropical dewiness.

I finally found out how to pronounce "Gephardt" and "Kucinich". Trying to do my obligatory research about the Somewhat Good Guys gearing up for the '04 elections. All I have to say to you people as of right now is Vote NOT Bush. It might take all year to determine who is the most worthy contender among his adversaries.

One thing does make me mad though: Edwards won't stop pursuing the Dem. ticket nomination. I don't want him to leave the Senate for NC. Some sort of logical balance is needed when it comes to the other rep., Liddy Homemaker Dole.

Hi.

A hefty percentage of South Floridians can't drive. Thank all that may or may not be holy for the fact that I don't currently have to join them on the road.

My friend Tim is a genius. He has it all figured out. The entire world's problems come down to two sources, the more prominent of which being the Ice Age. If you want to know, ask. No one reads this, therefore I probably won't have to remember the logics of it all.

Did you know that there is no spoon? Does that mean that there is also no spork?

I need to organize the media section. No one's going to want to see my rarely-updated webcam forever. Again, not that anyone looks. -laughs- I need to re-list myself with search engines.

My mother has more Christmas decorations than I have total personal possessions in storage. Fuck that, my mother has more Christmas decorations and doo-dads than Rockefeller Center.

End inane transmission.

I'm welcoming myself back to my own website. I'm better at blogging on my main journal, but I'll see if I can't fix that just for the sake of having a halfway decent website.

Don't know who I like among the Democrats, as far as the political front goes. Just get Shrub the fuck out of there. That'd be good.

I live in South Florida now. Suck. With my mom. That's pretty cool. Looking for a job again is such a fucking pain though.

Hi, I like to curse. A whole goddamned lot. :D

I write fanfiction now, and will soon incorporate it here now that I have a broadband connection, ftp and the means once more. Yay. Might even change this layout, but it's very functional so if it changes, it won't be much.

HI AUBREY, if you see this. I'm going to find your number again and talk to you soon.

Meanwhile, everyone else: I know I don't get a lot of traffic, but if you happen on this place...there's a GUESTBOOK. So, fucking SIGN IT. Thank you.

Fin.

Busy, busy, busy.

Working again. YAY. So much better doing this, even though it's not anything special where jobs are concerned, than sitting around the house like a lump.

The California gubernatorial insanity is the hot topic of all the late-night television comedians. From a former Austrian bodybuilder-turned-action-film-hero to sitcom child star who has sinced gained a millimeter in height for his decades of maturation, the wackos are all coming out to join the race. There are hundreds of candidates at the moment. Absolute bedlam. Yet another reason to not want to live there -- EVER. I think the drugs are in the damn water in those parts.

Liar, liar, pants on fire...George Bush addressed the nation and discussed his not-quite-surprisingly heinous plans for the allocation of funds. Talking about the astronomical cost of the war as if it was necessary and justifiable...ugh. I wish the someone among the liberals getting ready to vie for party candidacy for 2004 would start exploiting Georgie Porgie's idiocy so at least, no matter who takes his place, there will not be a second term for America's favorite cokehead.

They put to death the lunatic responsible for the slaying of an abortion provider back in the early 90's last week. The governor responsible was Jeb Bush, surprisingly enough. While I'm sure his stance is still pro-life, I'm very proud of him for taking his stern stand of intolerance for unprovoked violence against abortion clinics and their doctors. May that fucker rot in pieces.

AND! For a little humor, stolen from my friend Liz and from one of the greatest men alive.

We have become a Nazi monster in the eyes of the whole world--a nation of bullies and bastards who would rather kill than live peacefully. We are not just Whores for power and oil, but killer whores with hate and fear in our hearts. We are human scum, and that is how history will judge us... No redeeming social value. Just whores. Get out of our way, or we'll kill you.

Who DOES vote for these dishonest shitheads? Who among us can be happy and proud of having all this innocent blood on our hands? Who are these swine? These flag-sucking half-wits who get fleeced and fooled by stupid little rich kids like George Bush?

And I am too old to worry about whether they like it or not. Fuck them.

I AM POSTING FROM HOME AND NOT THE GODFORSAKEN LIBRARY!

Do remember to breathe, Kayla dear...

Not a whole lot going on in my world or the whole world that I feel like picking apart at the moment, but I figured that this deserved a fresh update. You know, even though nobody reads it but me.

Ah well, my plans for world domination require a certain invisibility. ;)

It's a great day in the neighborhood when Ahhhnold Schwartzenegger might be the governor of California. That's just...really really amusing to me. It shows how much that role, or hell, politics in general, has degenerated in that state. Don't get me wrong, Ahhhnold rocks most on, but I don't know if he'd make a very good politician. And how compromised would his "Republican" ideals be when he's married to (teehee) a Kennedy?

Oh, and if you haven't done this before, go to google.com, then type "weapons of mass destruction" into the search bar, then hit "I'm feeling Lucky" instead of just searching. The result is quite worth it. ;)

Why, oh why, is this little girl here in the library wearing a big sign on the front of her jumper that says "PEANUT ALLERGY"? I understand that such allergies can be almost fatal to those who suffer from them but...why a big sign on a little girl's dress?

A warning to all those who use Yahoo mail: They are sending your worthy shit to the Bulk Mail (spam) folder. I've been finding my eGroups digests in there, my LJ comment notifications, my daily horoscopes...blah.

Bush is a stupid homophobic twit. He seeks to legally "define" marriage as the union of man and woman...only. Which would passively and permanently deflect requests for homosexual marriage. @#$%^&*

It made me mad enough that all the "evidence" that Iraq posed an imminent threat (as in the rationale for war) is being shot to hell. I can hardly hold back the urge to make one loud, obnoxious and sophomoric grunt of "DUH!". We look like a big fat bunch of bullies and I don't want to be associated with the idiocy that occupies the Executive Branch. No, I do NOT have to automatically support my President. I didn't vote for him, indicating I didn't support him then...why should anything change?

Tony Blair...I don't know how to explain that. Always seemed like a decent and smart man to me. I'd like to think he jumped on the Bomb Iraq bandwagon out of fear that those who oppose become targets...but I know better than that. Just because there is past reason to be loyal does NOT mean that one should follow blindly into the crossfire when asked, especially when it's not hard to see that said decision lacks any sense. France, anyone? The perpetual loser of most wars past, France decides "nah...not enough reason for us to engage in mass violence". Seems sensible to me, and it's their decision to make whether others like it or not. They were rewarded for their self-preservationalist attitude with boycotting and insults. That just reminds me of 6th grade...when disagreeing with the popular group earned me a similar situation.

-rolls eyes-

Bush is a trigger-happy juvenile, Blair is a follower, and they're both going down under the heat of Shoot First, Ask Questions Later.

I am currently without internet access.

In my typical articulate fashion, I will make this one remark...

IT SUCKS!

I'm an internetaholic...maybe not as bad as some, but definitely worse than most. I can't stand to be without it for this long. I am using a library terminal, which isn't terrible but it's not great either. It's almost as slow as 28.8k dialup. Ugh.

Naturally, my damn email box was overfull. I get a fair share of worthwhile email, but it's far far outnumbered by the amount of spam that I get. Normally it doesn't become full that quickly, but my Herbalife guru dude sent me about ten different messages over 500k. Ass. That's so unnecessary.

Okay, soooo...quick update.

- I went to the emergency room last Wednesday. I was there for 6 hours getting an EKG, a CAT scan, IV fluids, a bazillion blood tests and pushed around, quite unnecessarily, in a wheelchair. All that superfluous bullshit for heat stroke. I passed out during work and woke up, not surprisingly, with a headache. That's my body's reaction to anything negative -- a headache/migraine. The ER staff at Carolinas Medical Center thought that that was cause for doing all sorts of wild things...which probably ran me a bill that will cause heart failure. Blah.
- I've been reading a whole lot of maddening stories lately. All about questioning -- NOW, IN THE AFTERMATH -- the rationale behind the war in Iraq. Holy fuck Eureka. Don't give a double-digit IQ'ed moron the right to bomb the shit out of someone if you AREN'T SURE WHY HE'S DOING IT. Don't shoot first and ask questions later and then wonder why the whole goddamn world hates us. >_<

Until next time.

Flood warnings along the South Fork river.

Yep, that's all we need.

I'm going to go make sure that important stuff is out of the line of fire (cords, etc.).

On a totally unrelated note: Dreaming that I'm 9 months pregnant is extremely confusing, mmkay...

This makes me really mad. [13 Jul 2003|03:47am]
http://writeaprisoner.com/z-221487.htm

Susan Smith killed her two children by pushing her car, with them still in it, into John D. Long Lake in Union, SC. That's about 40 minutes from here.

First, she got on television claiming that she had been carjacked by a black guy. She let a massive manhunt go on for a week, looking for this nonexistent man and her already dead sons.

This went on for exactly a week before Ms. Smith admitted, live on the local news, to her own actions. Her husband (and the father of the two boys, ages 4 and 1) was leaving her and the act was supposedly a psychotic cry for attention until her guilt overcame her.

She was found fit to stand trial, pleaded insanity but was found guilty of murder one.

She wants non-judgmental? Pff, that's asking for someone as demented as herself, though she deserves death by grisly mutilation.

I gave light updates to the 'about' and 'links' sections.

My hands hurt from wrestling my pet wolves (yes, wolves.) back into their pen last night, so I don't plan to be in front of the computer any more today.

I'll make more substantial updates when I have something more to say than "I hope that fucktard sits on one of those fireworks" or "I'm too tired to do this, kthanks.".

Also...suggestions on what to get a man who does nothing but work all day for his birthday will be very welcome, as my father turns 47 on Monday.

Happy 15th birthday to my sister Jessica!!!

I woke up today with a massive headache, and it was bright as hell outside. Of course. After a few days of being overcast, I had to step outside and feel the sun fry out my optical nerves.

Tomorrow is Independence Day. Hooray for morons and fireworks. I don't think I'm going to be celebrating. Just call me Patriotically Incorrect.

Welcome to my site, version 4.0.

It's a tad lazy, but an improvement from nothing.

"The dream is still alive" refers to the inactive status of this site for quite a long period of time. It's not that I don't care, but inspiration is hard to come by when one is afraid of familial criticism.

The blogging tool is Livejournal, one of my favorite things on the entire internet. Simple as it may be, every other aspect of this site is copyrighted. MINE.

I am organizing the media section, which will take a while.

For now, I'm tired and going to bed.
Because you care, right?
